Lat February 2, I have a post about Intel’s P67 and H67 Chipset SATA Bug/Issue. I made that post because I am one of those people who owns the affected chipset. The news had brought a panic mode for the users and enthusiast who already owned the affected chipset. As for me, I bought a Gigabyte GA-H67MA-UD2H rev 1.0 and wanting to replace my board when the new revised versions comes up. I also called the shop where I bought the motherboard and they are aware about the issued and willing to replace my board when the stocks of the new boards arrive.
Here is the good news for my fellow Gigabyte P67/H67 users. Gigabyte already announced their motherboard replacement program according to Anandtech. Eligible Gigabyte Motherboards for the replacement program are listed below. Below is the key messages of Gigabyte. (Photo is taken from Anandtech Post about Gigabyte Replacement Program)

Bottom line is we are allowed to exchange are defective motherboard in April. Gigabyte’s Tech Daily Blog also posted a Question and Answer about Intel’s 6 series chipset issue. You can refer to that post to get details on how, when and where to exchange your defective motherboards.
