Hi guys! It’s been a while since my last post on this blog but don’t worry I’m back. Right now, I’m on the verge of exploring Mac OSX Lion 10.7. Well, I’ve been a Microsoft Windows user ever since I learned how to use a computer and now I’m learning this Mac OSX .
I liked chatting very much that’s why I always make sure that I have a Yahoo Messenger installed on my computer to communicate with family and friends. So, I downloaded the Yahoo Messenger for Mac to give it a try. I was stunned with the very sleek and clean interface of YM for Mac, how I wish it is the same for Windows version of YM. One thing I noticed is that I can’t see the BUZZ button on the chat window. I also tried using the shortcut Ctrl+G (for Windows) but it seems not to work either. I made a little research and found out that the shortcut for BUZZ in Mac is the 
(Command key or the key with an Apple Logo (
) + G, but again it doesn’t work instead it just gave me a funk sound meaning the shortcut key is not working.
I did not give up and continue searching until I found a workaround for this problem. Below is a guide on how to fix the Yahoo Messenger Buzz on Mac OS X Lion.
1. Open your System Preferences and then click on Keyboard.
2. Click on Keyboard Shortcuts Tab. Select Application Shortcuts on the list. Now click the + button in order for us to add the Buzz shortcut.
3. A window will pop after click the + button. On the Application, look for Yahoo Messenger. On the Menu Tittle , enter “Send Buzz”. On the Keyboard Shortcut, press the Command Key + G. Make sure you have done it correctly like the image below. And now click on the Add button.
4. And that’s it. You have successfully add and fix the Yahoo Messenger Buzz shortcut. You can now use the BUZZ feature of Yahoo Messenger.
